COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS) UPDATE
Shopping centres and retail precincts are currently exempt from government advice, therefore Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre is staying open to make sure you can continue to have access to essential products and services as we navigate COVID-19.
The health and safety of our customers, retailers and staff is our number one priority so we have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures for high touch areas such as bathrooms, handrails, furniture surfaces, lift buttons and travelators.
If you’re feeling unwell, we ask you to think of your community and stay home. We are following all advice from the Federal Government, Victorian Health and the World Health Organisation and will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
The Victorian Government has announced the Stage 3 restrictions, which came into effect at midnight Monday 30 March. It is important to note that whilst there are restrictions and closures of stores happening and changing constantly, Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre remains open for the essentials.
Please find below a list of the Centre’s current situation, as at 31 March 2020:
• Closure of Snap Fitness Gym, and our restaurants (excluding takeaway and home delivery).
• Food courts in our centre will only be allowed to serve takeaway. Retailers will be serving in takeaway containers / cups only ie. no food court trays.
• Beauty therapy, tanning, waxing, nail salons and tattoo parlours, spa and massage parlours will shut; Health-related services are exempt.
• Hairdressers and barbers can remain open but must adhere to the one person per four square metre rule. Appointments cannot be longer than 30 minutes.
It is more important than ever to continue Social Distancing while in the Shopping Centre for the health of our community. To stop the spread, stay 1.5m away from others whilst shopping, and maintain personal hygiene with hand washing.
To reconfirm, there have been NO confirmed cases of Covid-19 at Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre. Please ignore all rumours relating to this. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and we are taking extra precautions to keep our centre clean and sanitized.
The Endeavour Hills management office remains functional to support our essential services and our community and is contactable throughout by email or telephone as normal by Telephone 9700 2374 or Email email@example.com. Please note our security number is 0434 608 273.
